The RTCI partners with police agencies and state UCR programs across the United States to create a robust and meaningful crime index. Participation in the RTCI is voluntary and free of cost. Participation in the RTCI does not replace an agency’s reporting responsibilities with respect to the Uniform Crime Report program. If your agency or department is interested in contributing data to the Real-Time Crime Index you can easily and securely upload your data in our portal below.
How to Submit Data
You can use the portal below to upload your monthly UCR or NIBRS data in whatever format your system currently uses. Please be sure to include your agency name in your file. The RTCI team will standardize the data before including it in the Index, and you are always welcome to review your own data on this website.
